ALGS Tournament Breach Sparks Concern

Expert Insight on Hack Impact and Response
Offering his expertise, Pirate Software discussed the incident and its repercussions on Mar. 18, seeking to alleviate player anxieties. He advised players to consider temporarily uninstalling the game until more information is provided by Respawn, while cautioning against unnecessary panic.
In a detailed analysis on his stream, Pirate Software addressed the likelihood of remote code execution (RCE), the method claimed by the hacker to have been used during the ALGS match. He expressed skepticism about the feasibility of such an exploit targeting only high-profile players, suggesting that a widespread RCE attack would have affected the entire player base.
