Prophecy Dungeon's Extensive Loot Revamp
The Prophecy Dungeon, a longstanding favorite among Destiny 2 players, witnessed a complete transformation as Bungie implemented a sweeping loot rework. This update not only introduced three entirely new weapons but also breathed new life into three existing ones by infusing them with both new elements and perks.
The community welcomed these updates, anticipating a revitalized gaming experience, but the true impact of these changes exceeded expectations.
A PvE Powerhouse with Unprecedented Perks
Among the revamped arsenal, one standout weapon has emerged as a potential game-changer in PvE scenarios-the Adjudicator, a reissued submachine gun. What sets the Adjudicator apart is its introduction of a previously unseen perk in its category: Onslaught.
Onslaught, a newly introduced perk, boasts the ability to increase fire rate and reload speed by a remarkable 37%. This unique perk synergizes exceptionally well with the Precision Frame of the Adjudicator, transforming it into an SMG with a fire rate comparable to Lightweight Frames but with significantly enhanced damage output.
The Adjudicator's PvE God Roll further solidifies its dominance:
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Perk 1: Subsistence
- Perk 2: Onslaught
- Origin Perk: Crossing Over
- Masterwork: Range
Being a Kinetic weapon, the Adjudicator inflicts 10% more damage against unshielded targets. When coupled with the activated Onslaught perk, the weapon achieves a damage per second (DPS) that not only rivals but often surpasses some of the most formidable Trace Rifles. This positions the Adjudicator as a Primary ammo weapon with the potential for Special ammo level damage.
The inclusion of Onslaught on the Adjudicator draws parallels with its previous appearance on a meta Void Auto Rifle, widely regarded as the best Auto Rifle in Destiny 2. However, the key distinction lies in accessibility-the Adjudicator is obtainable through Prophecy's Cube encounter, making it a far more achievable weapon for players compared to its elusive counterpart.
