Baldur’s Gate 3: A Guide to Locating the Sharran Lookout

Baldur's Gate 3 thrusts players into the heart of Rivington and the iconic Baldur's Gate in Act 3. As the looming existential threat overshadows the city, players are tasked with preparing their allies for the impending battle. One questline, in particular, involving Shadowheart, demands keen navigation through the shadows of the city to uncover the Sharran Lookout and House of Grief.

Daughter of Darkness

Shadowheart's questline, known as the Daughter of Darkness, unfolds with pivotal decisions in Act 2. Depending on players' choices, her story can take dramatic turns.

Preventing her from killing Dame Aylin reveals a possibility that her long-lost parents may still be alive. Players must now assist her in tracing her family roots, delving deeper into her mysterious past.

Sharran Lookout Location

Entering Act 3 in Rivington prompts players to converse with Shadowheart, who suspects a Sharran lookout among the refugees before the bridge. The lack of objective markers demands a careful search.

Watch for clues such as the wound on Shadowheart's hand reacting when close to the hidden Sharran agent. The lookout, Ferg Drogher, stands east of the Rivington fast travel waypoint, located in a small refugee camp below Arfur's Mansion near the Requisitioned Barn at (X:45; Y:-102.)

House of Grief Location

The House of Grief, the subsequent destination in Shadowheart's quest, remains unmarked on the map. Crossing the Wyrm's Crossing bridge into the Lower City of Baldur's Gate is the first step. Positioned far northwest, above Lady Jannath's Estate and left of the Baldur's Gate fast travel waypoint at (X:-246; Y:-9.), the house demands players' keen attention.

Shadowheart's recognition of graffiti and a responsive wound will serve as vital clues in the search, ultimately guiding players closer to the resolution of Baldur's Gate 3's intricate narrative.
