The "Breakout" Season for Apex Legends is coming very soon, with some interesting changes that may entice players to come pick the game up again. One of the major changes that players can expect is the reworked crafting system, which developer Respawn Entertainment calls Crafting 2.0.
Crafting Overhaul
Once Apex Legends Season 20 goes live, players will no longer be able to craft weapons. Instead, they will be back on the floor for players to pick up. With this change alone, players can expect battle royale matches to be even more frantic than ever before.
Crafting is not going away entirely as players can still craft certain consumables, such as the Shield Battery, Medkit, and Player Banners. Players can refill their ammo by interacting with Replicators as well.
Speaking of which, 12 Replicators will spawn at the start of each match. Players can use each individual Replicator only once. Because of this change, players will be forced to think about when they should interact with the Replicator to get some much-needed supplies. Doing so very early might result in players losing the game.

Legend Upgrades
Another mechanic that will surely shake things up in Apex Legends is the new Legend Upgrade System. This is an in-match progression system that allows players to tailor their Legends according to their preferences.
As players accrue EVO points during the course of the match, they will be able to upgrade their Legends' armor and abilities. EVO can be gained by doing a variety of things, including dealing damage, initiating finishers, or opening EVO caches, among many others.
Each Legend in the game gets a couple of upgrades at Level 2 and Level 3. For example, when Ballistic reaches Level 2, he can choose between "Ammuvision" or "Care Package Insight." The former allows Ballistic to see relevant ammo types in Death Boxes, while the latter reveals the most valuable items inside Care Packages.
How about Catalyst? At level 3, she gains two notable upgrades. The first is "Long Veil" which increases the length of her ultimate ability by 15 meters. The second is "Resilient Veil" which increases the duration of her ultimate by five seconds.
The full list of Legend Upgrades can be found on the Apex Legends official website.
