PUBG players can now download the game's most recent patch to get a hold of some exciting new things. Read further to learn more about what Update 28.1 brings to the table.
Get on the Bus
PUBG's first-ever electric vehicle called the Pico Bus is now available via Update 28.1. This battery-powered, six-seater bus offers superior acceleration, allowing it to get to average speeds in less than a few seconds! It has a maximum boost speed of 127 km/h, which should enable players to arrive at their destination sooner rather than later.
Despite being a convenient way to traverse the map, the Pico Bus needs to be recharged from time to time. Players must always look at its current battery level so that they will know when they should go for a charge.
Speaking of which, the Pico Bus' battery can only be recharged at the Charging Stations.
As of now, the Pico Bus can only be used on the Rondo map. Hopefully, the developers will allow its use in many more maps in the near future.

JS9 Nerfed
One popular submachine gun has been nerfed in Update 28.1. The SMG in question is none other than the JS9. Those who have played PUBG recently should know that the JS9 is capable of dispatching enemies quickly even at long range. Hence, the developers have nerfed its killing potential a little bit to make the SMG more in line with its counterparts.
First, the damage of the JS9 is slightly reduced from 34 to 32. Second, its vertical and horizontal recoil have been increased by 18% and 15%, respectively. The recoil changes make the JS9 a bit less accurate, especially when fired from a distance.
Despite the recent nerfs, however, the developers assure those who use the J9 religiously that this SMG is still quite a deadly weapon, though players will have to be a bit closer to the enemy now if they want it to be effective.
