Mortal Kombat 1 enthusiasts eager to welcome Peacemaker into the game's arena will have to exercise a bit more patience. The highly anticipated debut of the character has encountered a slight delay, with the official release date now slated for February 28 later this month.

NetherRealm's Consistent Release Strategy
Traditionally, NetherRealm has adhered to a pattern of introducing new characters at the inception of each new season. This consistency was notably observed with the additions of Omni-Man and Quan Chi at the commencement of Season 2 and 3, respectively.
The delay in Peacemaker's arrival appears to be a strategic move to synchronize the character release with the initiation of Season 4, which has also been pushed back.
Season 4 Start Pushed On This Date
With Peacemaker poised to join the ranks, Season 4's kick-off, initially scheduled in the coming days, has been delayed. This shift is seemingly orchestrated to ensure a cohesive release of both the new character and the beginning of the season.
As Mortal Kombat 1's first Kombat Pack progresses, players can anticipate the addition of Ermac, Homelander, and Takahashi Takeda, constituting the halfway mark for the main fighters. However, specific release dates for these characters remain undisclosed, mirroring the uncertainty surrounding Peacemaker's debut, possibly slated for the end of Season 4.
