Online Co-Op and Cross-Save Progress
The developers addressed the community's anticipation regarding online co-op and cross-save features. Regarding online co-op, the team acknowledged the challenges in retro-fitting such a feature into the game but mentioned positive developments and ongoing investigations. As for cross-save functionality, testing has been underway, and a public beta is planned for February, with compliance measures for data protection laws like GDPR and CCPA being a key focus.
Excitingly, Vampire Survivors is set to expand into cross-media ventures. The developers announced an animated TV series in collaboration with Story Kitchen, with more details expected in 2024. While numerous collaboration proposals have been received, the team is taking a cautious approach to ensure alignment with the game's essence and creativity.
