Mountaineer Emerges as the Top Choice
A new Perk, the Mountaineer, nestled into the first slot, is among other established choices. Initially overlooked due to its description-"reduces fall damage"-it faced tough competition against Battle Hardened and E.O.D.
However, an influential video by Call of Duty expert JGOD shed light on Mountaineer's true potential. Testing revealed a staggering benefit: it nearly doubles the height a player can fall from without succumbing to lethal damage, extending the limit from 13.5 meters to approximately 27 meters.
Players quickly caught on after watching JGOD's findings. Shared clips on platforms like Reddit showcased Mountaineer's prowess, with instances of players surviving falls from deadly heights, as demonstrated by CODWarzone Reddit user Clipsin7.
Why Mountaineer?
Mountaineer reduces fall damage, which can be a game-changer in certain scenarios. This perk can give players an edge, especially in maps with varying elevations. Taking less damage from falls can allow players to navigate the map more freely and take risks they might otherwise avoid.
In addition to Mountaineer, there are other perks that players can consider. For instance, the Irradiated perk allows players to move faster and take less damage while in the gas. This can be particularly useful during late-game situations where players might be forced to fight in the gas.
