Hello Games, the developer of the space exploration game No Man's Sky, has developed another similar title called Light No Fire. Read further to learn more about this upcoming title.
Set on Earth
No Man's Sky is a game that takes players to beautiful procedurally-generated planets. Developer Hello Games wants to take on a different approach with Light No Fire where, instead of taking players to different planets, they can explore the vastness of Earth.
Light No Fire is an open-world fantasy survival RPG where exploration is the core premise and crafting is something that players must do in order to progress through the game.
Players can also ride different mounts, swim in the vast bodies of water, and even climb atop mountains if they are so inclined. Sean Murray, Founder and Managing Director of Hello Games, said that Light No Fire will feature mountains that are "taller than Everest." Besides that, it seems that the company is truly focusing on that fantasy aspect as dragons can be seen flying over the skies in the trailer. In fact, players can even ride them!
Although Murray and his team have been burned in the past for overpromising, No Man's Sky is now in a much better place. So, with this in mind, we can assume that Light No Fire will be a bit more polished and might actually deliver what was promised during the Game Awards 2023.

Meant to Be Enjoyed with Friends
Because of the company's many years of improving the base-building aspect of No Man's Sky, it seems that Hello Games is also going to implement something similar in Light No Fire.
According to the game's official press statement, players will be able to "construct persistent buildings" which implies that they can build a settlement that others can visit.
While it is meant to be enjoyed with friends, those who want to play solo need not worry because Light No Fire provides that option as well.

Several Playable Races
In the trailer, players might have the ability to choose among several playable races, including humans, rabbit-like creatures, badgers, and a race that appears to have antlers similar to deer. There may be more playable races once the game releases in the future, but it is a nice touch for the company to provide many different options right from the get-go.
Community Eagerly Awaits
It appears that some No Man's Sky players are eagerly awaiting Hello Games' next title. Although the trailer was certainly captivating and has piqued the interest of many, Murray did not close a specific date.
However, when interviewed a few years back, Murray said that he and his team have learned their lesson. "We don't want to start talking about anything too early," he said.
Based on that statement, we can assume that Light No Fire is near completion. Who knows, maybe the game will be released at the tail-end of 2024!
