#SteamSpotlight Feature: Shredders
Released on March 17, 2022, Shredders is a simulation game developed and published by FoamPunch. As previously mentioned, this game is all about snowboarding.
The game does have a story mode where you take on a character who gets an offer to make a couple of sponsored videos. In return, you get to have a glimpse of the world of snowboarding.
The story also focuses on an invitation that has attracted pro-riders to the Frozen Wood resort. As the character, you will get the chance meet some of them and even learn a bunch of their moves. The goal is to score the chance to join the invitational.
It should be noted that Shredders requires a controller in order to play. This means that you cannot use your keyboard and mouse.

What to Expect from Shredders
Shredders features an expansive and unlockable open world, so you get to explore its very diverse locations as you play the game. While there is a story mode, there is also a multiplayer mode that lets you play online with your friends.
If you are worried that the game will not feel natural, we're here to tell you that there's absolutely no need to worry. Actual real-world gear has been digitized for your use in the game. The animations are also life-like, and this is because they have been inspired by actual professional snowboarders.
In addition to that, the other riders in the game have voices and their backstories are inspired by real-life stories.

Steam Reviews for Shredders
Shredders has more than 1,800 reviews on Steam as of press time. These reviews are generally described as "Overwhelmingly Positive" by the platform.
TeeMoney says in a Steam review that Shredders is an "Incredible game that captures the feel of controlling a snowboard better than anything else by a mile."
In a separate review, Barry Dyngles says it's the "Best snowboard game since Coolboarders."
"You can tell the devs put a lot of soul into the game," Barry Dyngles adds.
