A new update for Naraka: Bladepoint is now available. One of its highlights is the introduction of "Seasons" to Showdown Mode.
The First Season
Showdown Mode is a game mode in Naraka: Bladepoint where players band together to take down the fearsome Omni boss. Those who want to take a break from the frenetic battle royale mode will have fun teaming up with others in this exciting PvE content.
Just recently, developer 24 Entertainment launched a new update that brought Seasons to the popular game mode. According to the company, the idea to switch to a seasonal model is to eliminate the gap that has emerged between newer players and more experienced veterans.
Furthermore, employing Seasons to Showdown allows 24 Entertainment to bring fresh content, new rewards, and experiment with various changes to make the game mode more worthwhile.
Just like other games, the progress that players have made during the season will be reset before a new one begins. That said, Season 1.0: Chasm is now underway and will end on March 6, 2024 at 7 p.m. EST.

What's New?
So, what are the other things that Naraka: Bladepoint players can find in the latest update? Back then, Showdown was only open to players during the weekends. The good news is that the said game mode is now available at all times. However, the new Fatigue System has been implemented to encourage players to try other content that Naraka: Bladepoint has to offer.
To be clear, the new Fatigue System does not prevent players from enjoying Showdown Mode. But, as the fatigue meter increases, items that drop at the end of a run will decrease. Fortunately, the meter will reset every Wednesday at 3 p.m. EST.
Anyway, players have a new boss to eliminate in Season 1.0: Chasm known as the Omnius Vortex. Brave warriors will head to the Shipwreck Expanse on Morus Isle to take on the ferocious beasts that the boss summons, so be prepared at all times!
Fans of Feria Shen are going to be happy as the hero is now playable in Showdown. Players can use her Bronze Mech to eliminate enemies foolish enough to stand in her way.
