Arma Reforger Finally Out of Early Access, Update 1.0 Introduces Helicopters and More

Arma Reforger, the military sim set in an authentic Cold War setting and the fifth entry in the Arma series of games, is now finally out of Early Access. Developer Bohemia Interactive has deployed Update 1.0 which includes a wealth of new features, such as helicopters, repair trucks, and many more!

Fly High for a Resupply

Arma Reforger finally has helicopters thanks to Update 1.0! Players can utilize the UH-1H and Mi-8MT to transport troops and supplies anywhere on the battlefield.

Unlike other games, the helicopters in Arma Reforger have been carefully crafted to simulate the real deal. Players will have an authentic experience when hovering in the skies of Arland and Everon using the said aircraft.

Supply System Overhaul

Bohemia Interactive has made some huge changes to the game's supply system as well. Instead of specific points on the map, the new supply system allows players to load up physical assets into vehicles, which they can then distribute to various locations on the island.

Additionally, players who somehow get lost on Everon or Arland can initiate a transport request so that they can reunite with their squad easily. Take note that there is a cooldown before players can send another request.

Patch It Up

Another great feature that was added in Update 1.0 is that players now have the ability to make quick repairs to damaged vehicles. Instead of abandoning them, players can equip a wrench from the arsenal to patch the vehicles up.

Those who want to make a full repair will still have to bring their damaged vehicles to a maintenance point. Repair Trucks that are chock full of supplies can also be utilized to fix these vehicles.

More to Come

Although Arma Reforger is officially out of Early Access, the company assures players that it will not stop in terms of improving the game. Based on the roadmap, Bohemia Interactive still needs to implement robust electrical systems, explosive charges, and improvements to the Game Master, among many others.
