What is DLSS?
DLSS, aka Deep Learning Super Sampling, is a technology that improves performance and visual fidelity by rendering frames at a lower resolution and then upscaling them to look as close to native as possible.
DLSS 3.0 is the latest version of NVIDIA's technology. Unlike the previous iterations, DLSS 3.0 has "Optical Multiframe Generation" - a technology that analyzes images from the game to create an AI-generated frame using the GPU's dedicated Tensor Cores. This frame does not have to be rendered by the game, resulting in vastly improved performance over DLSS 2.0.
Modern Warfare III players can now enable this feature in the settings menu after installing Patch 1.33.

Other Changes Didn't Make the Cut
Despite the massive size of the update, certain things that were supposed to be included just did not make the cut. In a statement, Sledgehammer Games cited "unforeseen issues" as the reason why some changes were not implemented in Patch 1.33. These changes range from weapon balancing in multiplayer to "Zombies" gameplay, among others.
Due to unforeseen issues, not all of the changes scheduled for today’s update were able to be released. Our teams are hard at work to get key movement changes, Multiplayer weapon balancing, Zombies gameplay & stability fixes, and more into the next available update.
