Samsung partners with Blacknut for a "Free Game Pilot," granting Samsung Gaming Hub users free access to cloud gaming on their smart TVs, no subscription needed.

Samsung Gaming Hub

If you are unfamiliar with it, Gaming Hub is an app available on select Samsung TVs in key markets. It acts as a hub, bringing together a variety of cloud-based gaming platforms, including Xbox Game Pass, Amazon Luna, GeForce Now, Antstream, Utomik, and, now, Blacknut. The beauty of Gaming Hub is that it enables gaming on Samsung TVs without needing a console or a PC.

While Gaming Hub itself is a free service, the cloud gaming platforms it hosts usually require subscriptions, each with its unique business model and fees.

However, Blacknut is changing the game by offering a sneak peek at their service through the "Free Game Pilot" feature. For the next three months, gamers can enjoy free access to eleven full games, and the best part? No subscription or sign-in is required.

Access 11 Exciting Games for Free

The eleven games available during this pilot are no slouches, either. Players will get a taste of some exciting titles, including "Overcooked! 2," "Asphalt 9: Legends," "For The King," "Arise: A Simple Story," and "Golazo! Soccer League," "Despicable Me: Minion Rush," "I Am Fish," "WRC 9: The Official Game," "Cat Quest," "Moving Out," and "Pile Up! Box by Box."

So, what makes this initiative so remarkable? It is about accessibility. Samsung smart TV users in Gaming Hub-enabled markets can now engage in quality gaming without needing a PC or console.

All you require is an active internet connection and a gaming controller, which can be conveniently purchased separately if you don't have one. Samsung is putting the power of gaming right at your fingertips.

Discover New Games Instantly

Samsung's Head of Product Management for Gaming, Mike Lucero, emphasized the user-centric approach: "With our 'Free Game Pilot,' we aim to offer players the opportunity to discover new games instantly, with no downloads or subscription required. Our goal is to minimize the time and effort required to pick up and play and provide a seamless discovery experience directly to our players."

The "Free Game Pilot" does not stop at just these eleven games. Throughout the rest of 2023, more games will be added to the Samsung Gaming Hub via Blacknut, further enriching the gaming experience for users.
