GTA 6 rumormongers are at it again, mainly because Rockstar Games is making a MASSIVE hiring push. This is even if the job openings don't even say they're connected to the next big GTA game.
As reported by GamesRadar, the renowned developer has a total of 227 jobs open across its global offices. Furthermore, an additional 70 positions have popped up within the last few days, suggesting that something big at the studio is requiring an even bigger team to handle it. Of course, what else could that project be than the now-confirmed GTA 6? Unless the studio is working on some other large-scale, unknown IP, that is.
Among the open positions include an Associate Designer, whose job will be to help create "open-world events." It is unclear what these events are, but they could very well be related to GTA 6 and Rockstar trying to make its world more believable and realistic. The events could work something like those random encounters in Red Dead Redemption 2, where you could be doing a mission, and some stranger approaches you with a story waiting to be told.
PCGamesN also shares a few other jobs, but much of the focus is on animations, mission design, and even vehicle physics. Now, what kind of game would need vehicle physics? Your guess is as good as ours - unless we're talking about a different game.
A good chunk of these positions is reportedly in Rockstar North, the main studio dealing with the GTA franchise. As for the other studios on the table, there are San Diego, New England, Japan, Lincoln, India, London, Leeds, Dundee, New York, and Toronto. You can check out the job openings yourself if you might be qualified for a position.
With almost 300 job openings, there is nothing else to believe, but GTA 6 is entering the next development phase. Sure, Rockstar might also still be working on continuous content updates for GTA Online and such, but the mere fact that the next GTA game is already confirmed is just going to make fans froth at the mouth even more.

New GTA 6 Rumors
Now, onto the actual new rumors for the next big GTA title. Among the newest (and frankly most reliable ones) comes from Bloomberg correspondent Jason Schreier. As reported by Comic Book, Schreier says the next game is going to feature just one protagonist instead of the three-protagonist style that GTA 5 did.
There were earlier rumors saying that the three-protagonist mechanic is returning, but Schreier said it with a level of certainty that it won't happen. But while he did make that claim, he also said that the game's status as currently in development means there are still so many things that can change over the course of it being made.
Another rumor comes by way of actress Natonia Monet's resume. According to GamesRadar, Monet recently shared that she's been hired to voice a character named "Tamara" from a video game seemingly codenamed "Fireball" by Rockstar Games. However, the resume entry reportedly vanished just after it was first spotted, once again further adding fuel to the GTA 6 fire.
