When Resident Evil Village was first announced, among the earliest characters fans saw was the towering vampire lady Lady Dimitrescu. She basically sent the entire internet into a frenzy, and her charm still lasts even to this day - over a year since the game first released.

Now, the newest addition to the world's collection of Lady Dimitrescu paraphernalia is an exclusive statue done by a company called PureArts, in obvious collaboration with Capcom. According to Push Square, the statue itself is an insane ¼ scale in size: around 2.4 feet tall, to be exact, since the character is a towering 9 feet, 6 inches tall.

The statue comes with a custom-tailored gown (none of that solid-carved stuff here), two hand poses (one with cigarette, one with her claws extended), and a life-size metal replica of Lady Dimitrescu's key. It also has a removable hat and features synthetic hair.
The price is as monumental as its size: $1500 US or £1200 in the UK. But if you still want to get your "mommy fix" (we're not gonna judge you for it), you're out of luck as the statue is already sold out on PureArts' website.
According to Eurogamer, however, you can still get your hands on her... er, the statue if you sign up for a waiting list. The company didn't explicitly state when stocks will be available again, but those who have already bought it will get theirs shipped by Q3 2023. That's a long way away, but hey, it's going to be worth it, right?
Either way, any massive fan of Resident Evil Village or the Resident Evil game franchise in general will love to add this to their collection. It's easily far bigger (and arguably better) than what anybody could get from a typical collector's edition of a game these days.

A Look At Lady Dimitrescu's Enduring Popularity
Many people have come up with reasons as to why the internet became obsessed with Resident Evil Village's now-iconic tall vampire lady. Most of these reasons are personal, but GameRant offers an explanation that makes a bit of sense when considering older Resident Evil games.
According to them, Alcina Dimitrescu is not like other prior RE villains. She doesn't look horribly disfigured or robotic. She looks elegant and beautiful - a true lady of the castle, while also keeping her intimidating and scary visage. She is, after all, still an almost immortal being with super-sharp claws, super strength and a taste for human blood and flesh. A monster, through and through - but her looks are almost meant to deceive.
Another explanation shared by Complex is more primal in nature. They say that people's attraction to her is due to their innate "desire to feel powerless and physically dominated." These things are traits closely related to a phenomenon known as macrophilia, which translates from the Greek term meaning "lover of anything large."
Dr. Todd Anderson, an NYC-based psychoanalyst and sexual therapist, explains it this way. Human society has always associated something big with something powerful, and males will find that attractive due to them wanting to be "taken care of" by a more powerful other. That's pretty much it.
Look, whatever your reason might be to buy that Lady Dimitrescu statue, we're not hating. It's your money - enjoy it as you see fit.
