Apex Legends Mobile just welcomed its new platform-exclusive addition to the roster: the DJ called Rhapsody. Just think of her as like Overwatch's Lucio, but her kit includes a Bluetooth speaker bot called Rowdy that's pretty deadly on its own. And she's no support hero, that's for sure.
ESTNN reports that Rhapsody will come into Apex Legends Mobile on July 12th, and more information about her kit will be revealed in the days to come. She's also coming close to the launch of Season 2, called Distortion. The season will bring a new map called Pythas Block 8, whose specific details haven't been revealed yet as well.
Here is the announcement trailer:
Her official backstory is as follows:
"Originally from Komma, where the tech giant Pythas Inc. controls all, Rhapsody ha used her love of music to rise out of poverty in the dangerous nightlife district of Neon Dunes and become one of the hottest Legends on the Apex scene. Her mother, a brilliant AI engineer who created Rhapsody's companion Rowdy, was fire dfrom Pythas Inc. for discovering deep company secrets and now she must compete in the Apex Games under their banner to help free her family from debt."
Until official details on her abilities are revealed by Respawn, all we can derive of her kit is from the trailer itself. It looks like she'll be able to unleash Rowdy, her speaker bot, on command to deal damage to enemies when needed using some sort of a sonic attack. And perhaps she also has a buff ability where teammates closest to her get a yet-unspecified boost with the ability active.
To cap things off, Rowdy seems to have a barricade ability which GameRant says is similar to Newcastle's barricade. It looks to be capable of absorbing incoming fire.
Either way, Rhapsody is Apex Legends Mobile's second platform-exclusive Legend after Fade, who came with the arrival of Season 1. Just watch out for more details on her kit soon.

Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 Details
Since Rhapsody is Apex Legends Mobile's main draw for Season 2, should you be excited for the season as well?
As previously mentioned, there's barely any details revealed by Respawn with regards to Apex Mobile's second season. They're expected to share more information close to the July 12th release date, so for now all we can do is speculate until the official details come out. And we have the events of the game's inaugural season to help us with that.
Season 1 brought Fade, as previously mentioned, as a platform-exclusive Legend. But Fade also came with a few new additions, such as the new Arena map called Overflow, the Team Fill feature (which allows new players to backfill into an active match after a quitter leaves mid-game), and updates to the in-game shop (via GiveMeSport).
There were also a few new co-op Club Missions, new weapons, attachments, and gear, and slight tweaks to existing weapons. One should also expect a few bug fixes just to clean things up.
