Cooking Mama, Frogger are Coming to Apple Arcade — Is a Yu Suzuki Game Joining Them Too?

Apple Arcade users are in for a treat for the month of June because there are a couple of new games heading your way!

Specifically, there are three games launching on Apple Arcade in the coming weeks, including one Yu Suzuki game.

Apple Arcade's Upcoming Games for June 2022

Here are the three games releasing on Apple Arcade for the month of June:

Air Twister

We will not keep in you suspense regarding the Yu Suzuki game much longer as it is the first one we will tell you about. For those who are unfamiliar with Yu Suzuki, he is best known for games such as Out Run and Shenmue.

The game, Air Twister, is a "linear fantasy endless shooter," according to a report by GameSpot. The story of the game revolves around the character named Princess Arch and her quest to save her planet.

Air Twister will feature a touchscreen swipe-shooting mechanic that will be both fun and easy to use for the gamer.

Players can expect the game to be released on June 24. You can watch the game's reveal trailer below:

Cooking Mama: Cuisine

When you think of cooking game, it will not be a surprise if the first one that comes to mind is Cooking Mama. If you happen to be a fan of the franchise, its next game will be heading to Apple Arcade on June 17.

Cooking Mama: Cuisine is similar to the past games in the franchise in a sense that players are still meant to unlock recipes and perform each step perfectly. However, this upcoming Apple Arcade game has a new twist. GameSpot's report notes that the game's description in the Apple Arcade update says "Rather than selecting a recipe, players will first choose the ingredients, find a combination that works together, and then start cooking."

It is being noted by GameSpot that Office Create Corp. is developing the game instead of 1st Player Productions. The latter is the developer of 2020's Cooking Mama: Cookstar.

Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins

Last and certainly not the least, Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins will launch on June 3. According to the tweet by Apple Arcade, the game will involve a hunt for lost treasure that will involve an ancient land.

The game is being developed in-house by Konami.

Anything Else to Expect on Apple Arcade This Month?

We did say that there are three games heading to Apple Arcade for June, but technically, there is one more you can add to the mix.

According to a report by The Verge, there is a jigsaw puzzle game also releasing on Apple Arcade. However, it should be noted that the game will be part of the section of Apple Arcade meant for App Store classics.
