Here are the expected evolution tricks that will come into "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet."
Since Pokemon has not yet announced the new potential evolution method in the game, we will be sticking for now to the usual techniques for evolving a Pokemon. These include leveling and trading your Pokemon, to name a few.
Leveling Through Battle
According to DBLTAP, a Pokemon could advance to the next level if it reaches the required experience. As such, the experience could be acquired via battle. It's also possible to get through exp share.
Another trick is by using Rare Candies. This is the fastest way to level up your Pokemon, but it would compromise the EV spread if you are a meticulous player.
Trading with Other Trainers
One of the most famous evolution methods that still exist in every mainline Pokemon title is trading the Pokemon. You can do this with your friends or an NPC.
Some of the Pokemon which evolve via trade include Machoke, Graveller, Haunter, and more.
The trade-based approach is ideal to do especially if you want to evolve your Pokemon with your friend. You can easily retrieve the traded Pokemon back to you.

Pokemon Bonding
Some Pokemon evolve when they reach a specific bond of friendship with their owners. You can do this by frequently using it during battle. You can also just walk around the area and wait until it evolves.
"Pokemon Scarlet and Violet" could adopt this classic gimmick. We could see Golbat turn into Crobat once again. The same thing goes with Pichu and Pikachu, Riolou and Lucario, and more.
Evolution Items
Aside from the abovementioned tricks, you can also evolve your Pokemon using items. For instance, your Eevee can turn into a Vaporeon when you use a Water Stone. If you use a Leaf Stone or Thunder Stone, it will evolve into Leafeon or Jolteon, respectively.
