xQc Doesn't Care If You Don't Like His Gambling Content

xQc Claps Back At His Critics Complaining About His Gambling Content

Gambling has been fast becoming a major part of streamer Felix "xQc" Lengyel's content lately, which is something fans have voiced their disagreement over. But he really doesn't care.

According to Win.gg, the massively popular Twitch streamer and former Overwatch League pro addressed his apparent public gambling addiction. In a recent post on Discord, xQc said that he's not streaming to become a role model, and is only streaming on Twitch to have fun. He even asked his critics to just stop watching if they don't like his gambling content.

In the post, xQc also mentioned the time he was told to apologize for his alleged gambling problem. He mentioned that he was "wrong" to assume that there's any problem with his gambling, to which he also said he's "sorry for apologizing."

This post comes after multiple instances of Lengyel's gambling were basically condemned even by his long-time viewers, who say that the former eSports pro is a "hypocrite" for going back and forth on his stance against gambling. To which he replied he's not a hypocrite, saying that the "literally changed perspective" and made it clear over the past few months.

One might remember that xQc once condemned gambling on stream. He said that it was dangerous to younger people back then. But eventually, he seems to have returned to almost full-time gambling on most of his recent streams.

The popular streamer capped things off by saying how he's incensed at people complaining about his gambling streams involving the mobile game Toreba, writes PCGamer. His words to his harshest critics are as follows:

"Why would I take gamba complaint more seriously than mobile game complain threads? Like I said, no opinions will be suppressed except for legitimate misinformation like the # thing. 2022 xQc despair mobile game trash content. U wanna see despair? I'll show u despair."

xQc's Apparent Gambling Addiction At A Glance

One might argue that the popular Twitch streamer's gambling has gotten quite out of hand, considering a recent report. This is perhaps why even his most hardcore fans are complaining.

Early this month, a report by Kotaku revealed that Lengyel lost an insane $1.8 million in gambling just last April. xQc himself admitted this in a stream with another popular Twitch streamer, Imane "Pokimane" Anys, saying that he gambles because it is "fun" and he can basically afford to keep doing it.

That last claim is not much of a stretch too, considering xQc is a very very well-paid Twitch streamer. With an estimated net worth of $9 million as revealed by SportsKeeda, Lengyel regularly earns six figures a month just from his Twitch streams alone. It was even reported that he earned over $750,000 from streaming back in September 2021. In total, his estimated earnings from the platform last year are pegged at around $5 million.

xQc's earnings comfortably put him among the list of the highest-paid Twitch streamers and online content creators in the world. So maybe he can keep up his gambling habit with not a lot of problems. The question now is how long he can keep it up.
