"Genshin Impact" for Nintendo Switch is rumored to be canceled by MiHoYo. However, a spokesperson of the game developer clarified that the new console version is still being developed.
I wonder, if it ever comes to switch, how is Mihoyo going to handle the face that a lot of switch players had no way of playing through story heavy events, like the Unreconciled Stars event from 1.1.

"The Switch version is still in development, and we will release more information as we progress further along," said the MiHoYo representative.
The new "Genshin Impact" Switch version was first leaked during the early development of the title. MiHoYo said that it would arrive since it was a success after the video game arrived in 2019, as reported by GoNintendo.

Why 'Genshin Impact' Switch Cancellation Appear?
In 2021, Nintendo Switch suffered from hardware issues, which led to rumors about the "Genshin Impact" Switch version's cancellation.
Although this is the case, MiHoYo claimed that the new video game's Nintendo version would be released in 2021. Of course, this didn't happen.
Because of this, speculation about the cancellation became stronger. Some individuals claim that weaker hardware is among the main reasons why MiHoYo canceled the Switch version of its popular adventure title.
The issue is specifically with the Nintendo eShop. Speculations claimed that since "Genshin Impact" relies on microtransactions, such as Primogems, Passes, and Fates, the Switch version will need premium options.
If this is true, then it will be an issue for the Nintendo eShop.
Now that MiHoYo debunked this claim, the questions of fans regarding the upcoming "Genshin Impact" Switch version have been answered.
