Steam New Release: Forlorn
If you are looking for a new single-player survival horror game to try out, this new release on Steam fits the bill without a doubt.
Developed and published by Rainmade Games, Forlorn is set on a deserted island and you must forage, hunt, craft, and even build to survive. However, things get more difficult the moment the sun sets and it may be a struggle to simply survive.
Those interested to purchase Forlorn on Steam should take note that the game is an Early Access release as of press time.

Steam New Release: The Last Rite of Death
The foreboding and rather dark title you just read probably already gave you an idea of what to expect with this newly released game.
Developed and published by Phantom Studio, The Last Rite of Death lets you take on the role of a character named James. The game follows his journey as investigates what happened to his family as he discovers the secrets behind a house that is said to be cursed.
You can expect a lot of paranormal elements when you play The Last Ride of Death as well as a plot that is actually based on real events, according to its Steam page.
Steam New Release: Is Simon There?
If you prefer short horror games, Is Simon There? is one that you should definitely check out.
Developed Stanislaw Truchowski and published by TurnVex, the game is around 40 minutes long only, per its Steam page. Your character in the game is still reeling from the death of Simon, the character's son. The game will require you to solve puzzles and there are actually three possible endings that you can get once you finish.
To make it easier for you to try getting all three endings, Is Simon There? only has one checkpoint.
Steam New Release: Village of Zombies
Zombie fans, this one is for you. It does not matter if you prefer to play alone or with other players as this game gives you both options.
Developed by Marco Games and published by Hoi 4 Deu, Village of Zombies pits you against zombies and mutant. Your goal is to simply survive as many levels as you can, according to its Steam page. As the level increases, so does the number of zombies and mutants, which will make it harder for you to survive.
