For this week, the spotlight is on one of the most popular and respected Dota 2 players out there. Let us introduce you to Kuro Salehi Takhasomi, who fans and gamers better know as KuroKy.
ProFiles: Dota 2's KuroKy
Kuro Salehi Takhasomi, better known as KuroKy, is a German player who started off by playing for local DotA teams first before eventually joining his first international team, mousesports. It was during his time here that he formed a friendship with fellow eSports player Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, according to an article by Hotspawn.
The two went on to form Kingsurf International in 2009. However, KuroKy eventually left the team that same year to join Meet Your Makers. His stay in Meet Your Makers did not last long as well before going back to his previous team and choosing to focus on Dota 2.
KuroKy eventually found himself teaming up with Puppey once more and this time, they were part of Natus Vincere, better known as Na'Vi. It was during their time with Na'Vi that "the Dota 2 version of the matchup known as 'El Clássico' was born," according to Hotspawn, as Na'Vi went up against Alliance in the grand final.
The two sides exchanged blows up until the fifth game, which has gone down in history as the greatest single game of Dota 2 ever played - and not just at The International," the article narrates.
Na'Vi went on to lose the grand final, but KuroKy stayed with the team for the remainder of the 2013-2014 season. Puppey left the team as well as the duo formed what is now known as Team Secret. The team proved to be successful at first, but an eventual lackluster performance and a strained relationship with Puppey caused KuroKy to leave.
Success with Team Liquid
After departing Team Secret, KuroKy formed a team called 5Jungz, which was eventually signed by Team Liquid. The team had its fair share of setbacks but their successes proved to be great as they earned themselves a TI7 invitation.
Team Liquid found themselves in the grand final and they were up against Newbee. KuroKy was the captain of the team.
TI7 proved to be the competition that KuroKy had been waiting for as Team Liquid was able to beat Newbee 3-0 in the finals. After attending every The Internation competition, KuroKy finally got to say he won it.

Aside from being a founding member of a couple of Dota 2's most well-know teams, KuroKy is also known for having played all Dota 2 heroes in competitive matches. "Across his career, he's played a number of different roles, which likely accounts for his ability to play a number of heroes," Dot Esports says in its report.
