So you've finished Elden Ring after so many trials, tribulations, and deaths. Now what?
If you feel like you can't get enough of FromSoftware's The Lands Between and how its majestic open world made you feel, don't worry. There are other games out there that will surely satisfy your cravings for magic, swordplay, and battling formidable foes as your life depended on it.
In this list, you will learn about the best games, just like Elden Ring, that you absolutely have to play if you haven't. So without further ado, let's begin!
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
First off, let's start with another Soulsborne game from FromSoft. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a Soulsborne unlike any other that came before it. According to GamesRadar, it was the first game in the long-running series that focused immensely on combat mechanics. In other words, there's far more to this game than just parrying, attacking, and dodge-rolling.
In Sekiro, you can't just button-mash your way through a boss. You'll need to be accurate with almost every move you make while in open combat. Many say this renewed focus on fighting mechanics makes this game the hardest out of every modern Soulsborne. So if you found Elden Ring "too easy," maybe this one will finally give you a challenge.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Many people called this game "Star Wars set in the Dark Souls universe." And in so many aspects, they're right. Respawn Entertainment did take design cues from the Souls franchise as they made this game. For instance, Fallen Order's save points will save your progress and respawn any enemies you've already beaten (much like the Souls bonfires).
The swordplay (or lightsaber play, really) in this game is easy to pick up if you loved counterattacking in Elden Ring, writes GameSpot. Plus, it's Star Wars? Who in the world doesn't like Star Wars? Unless, of course, you're a Trek fan.

Ghost Of Tsushima
Sucker Punch knocked it out of the park (and then some) with their samurai epic, and that's being conservative. This game follows the story of samurai warrior Jin Sakai, who is tasked with leading the charge to defend his homeland against Mongol invaders.
But if you managed to power through Elden Ring, it is understandable if you find Ghost's combat too easy. The good news is that the game's Hard or Lethal difficulty modes provide a considerable challenge, writes Collider. These two modes will give you that immense sense of accomplishment when you finish fights (especially one-on-one duels) that you've grown to love in FromSoftware's latest game.
The only drawback? You can't cheese anybody with magic (though there's ranged combat here).
Shadow Of The Colossus
What made Elden Ring (and the Soulsborne games in general) special is the sheer spectacle of boss fights. Whenever you face off against a seemingly invincible enemy, you're challenged to your core. Shadow of the Colossus has that spectacle in spades.
Because seriously, what is more, majestic than you fighting a total of 16 bosses; all of which are so large they tower above you like buildings?
To take them down, you need to climb up them and tackle their unique weaknesses in some sort of puzzle-like gameplay loop that rarely gets boring. It can be hard to believe what makes this game so good, considering it's only made up of those 16 boss fights, but you'll have to play it to see for yourself.
