"Demon Slayer - Kimetsu No Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles" adds new fighters in the game as part of the new DLC Characters pack.
The notable protagonists, antagonists, and character versions came from the anime's famous Entertainment District Arc, which finished airing last February.
'Demon Slayer' Entertainment District Arc DLC
Since the second season of "Kimetsu No Yaiba" was completed already a couple of months ago, it's time for the official "Demon Slayer" game to adopt these changes.
According to a report by Siliconera, the new character packs are set to come in the upcoming summer of this year. There's so much to look forward to here, including the new fighters and the highly-coveted variants of some characters with a cameo in the said arc.
At the time of writing, the full list of the new characters has been revealed by its developer. However, the company did not mention the price of each character pack.
Take a look at this update and what's inside the DLC character packs:
- Daki
- Gyutaro
- Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui
- Awakened Nezuko
- Tanjiro Kamado (Entertainment District Arc)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Entertainment District Arc)
- Inosuke Hashibira (Entertainment District Arc)
So far, only Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are playable characters in "Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles." As you can see in the list, the players can now soon use their new versions or skins in the game.
Other than that, Upper Moon twins Gyutaro and Daki, and Tengen will be added to the current roster of this video game. They will be playable in the Versus Mode.
While the previous characters, such as Susamaru and Yahaba arrived in the game for free, Tengen and the twin demons will be coming with a price tag through a DLC pack.

CyberConnect2 to Bring More DLC Characters Soon
In another story written by DualShockers, game developer CyberConnect2 hinted at the possibility of bringing more DLC characters in "Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles."
The delayed sequel might mean that more important fighters will come besides Uzui, Daki, and Gyutaro. Apart from that, it might add fresh story elements in future updates.
Currently, you can play the "Demon Slayer" game on several platforms, including Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC.
The Nintendo Switch version is expected to come on June 10. For mobile gamers, don't worry since CyberConnect 2 is now developing "Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royale."
The developer decided to postpone its development, but we assume it might incorporate the upcoming Swordsmith Village arc once it hits its release date.
As fans want to happen, the cross-playability might add more flexibility to the game. In this way, it's easy to switch and retain your progress from one device to another.
