The talismans in FromSoftware's Elden Ring are invaluable gears for players. Talismans like the Roar Medallion Talisman and Longtail Talisman can equip a player with a variety of offensive, defensive, or utility effects.

They can be obtained from fighting enemies and bosses, found in loots, or purchased from Merchants. One may think that collecting all talismans requires great expertise. But players may be surprised to find that they're not difficult to find at all. Here we list some of the valuable talismans in the game and where to find them.

Roar Medallion Talisman

The Roar Medallion Talisman is a bronze medallion with an image of a roaring giant, per a report by GameSpot. It enhances roars and breath attacks, such as War Cry and Beast's Roar.

Don't apply these with dragon breath spells as the effects won't be applied.

The Roar Medallion can be found in the Limgrave Tunnels dungeon in Limgrave. You will have to defeat the boss to get it. This is one of the first talismans that you can acquire right after you finish the tutorials. It is also one of the easiest ones to get.

Inside of the Limgrave Tunnels, you will have to find and defeat the Stonedigger Troll. This huge troll can be found at the very end of the tunnels. Though it can deal some serious damage, it is also very slow so it is very easy to just keep attacking it until it falls. Once it does, you will get the Roar Medallion as a reward.

Longtail Cat Talisman

According to a separate report by GameSpot, Longtail Cat Talisman is a brooch that depicts Lacrima, the long-tailed cat. This talisman prevents fall damage in case you fall from a height of less than 20 meters. This is pretty nifty if you want to check if the fall would be lethal if you take extreme jumps.

The Longtail Cat Talisman can be found in the Raya Lucaria Academy. Look for the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace. You will come across a rotating lift that will take you up and down. Take the lift and go down to the bottom of a crystal-filled gorge. You will encounter the Pendulum Statue. Kill the Pendulum Statue or simply dodge its attacks. You will see a glowing purple item against the back wall of the area, which is the Longtail Cat Talisman.

Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom Talisman

The Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom talisman can amp up your dexterity by 5 points, per GameSpot. It may not seem much, but it can be really helpful whenever you need to reach stat requirements to get certain weapons, especially if you do not have enough runes yet.

To get the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom, you will need to find Millicent at the Church of the Plague in Eastern Caelid. She will ask you to do a series of quests. Once you've given her the needle, rest for a moment at the nearby Site of Grace. Speak with her again, and after some time, she will hand you the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom Talisman.
