"Gotham Knights" has an official date for its launch, Warner Bros. announced this week. According to the entertainment giant, the final schedule for its release will be on Oct. 25.
So far, we knew that the studio had initial plans of unveiling this game last year. Due to unforeseen problems, several delays happened, which further disrupted its release window.
'Gotham Knights' is Coming in Late October 2022
Warner Bros. confirmed that "Gotham Knights" is coming this October 25.
"Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City," a preview of the game reads. "It is now up to the Batman Family; Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin; to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city's history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, you must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save the streets from descent into chaos."
Prior to this announcement, the fans speculated that they could see "Gotham Knights" as early as March 2021. However, after many months of waiting, it did not happen that year.
In light of this issue, Warner Bros. guaranteed that fans wouldn't be disappointed this time since the game was already set for an October getaway.
Comic Book spotted on Twitter that the official account of "Gotham Knights'" did not mention anything except for its release date.
Most importantly, we knew that the Bat-Family would be the game's main protagonist. They will be the ones who will protect innocent people against villains.
The October appearance of this open-world video game is expected to drop on a similar day with PlayStation's State of Play presentation. According to Sony, this event will focus on introducing some Japanese games in the gaming industry.
Although Warner Bros. is not based in Japan, another part of the highlight will revolve around "other developers" who come from other parts of the world. We could expect that the entertainment company would have shot for this appearance.

'Gotham Knights' Main Characters and Gameplay
The gameplay for "Gotham Knights" was pretty straightforward. It's open-world in the sense that you can showcase your skills all over the place.
In the 2020 trailer, we can see some cameos of Batgirl and Robin fighting Mr. Freeze, PC Gamer wrote in its previous report.
We could also observe some role-playing game stuff here. There are level indicators that are located beside the opponents' HP. There are also damage counters for every attack that lands on the character.
Of course, special abilities are included in this game to make it more exciting and interesting. Either way, you have the freedom to attack in long or short-range depending on your choice of weapons.
For the main characters, except that Batman is a no-show here since it was mentioned in the previous quote that he's already dead. The stars of Gotham City will be Robin (Tim Drake), Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), Nightwing (Dick Grayson), and Red Hood (Jason Todd).
