After more than two decades since the release of the "Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers," it seems that 2022 is the year where we could see its new sequel in line with its 25th-anniversary celebration.
"Soul Hackers 2" is slated to be released six months later this year. This will be a fresh game in the "Megami Tensei" series. For fans, this announcement is huge news to overcome after some time.
'Soul Hackers' Launch Date, In-Game Bonuses, and More
IGN Southeast Asia recently reported that the new "Soul Hackers" title would be available on PC, Xbox, PS4, and PS5.
According to "Persona 5" developer Atlus, this upcoming Japanese role-playing game will be adopting both elements that the 1997 "Soul Hackers" and "Megami Tensei'' series showcased as part of its decade-long commemoration.
The game will be initially released in Japan on Aug. 25, followed by its global launch a day later. There are several options that you can choose for its voiceovers. You can select either English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, German, or Italian as subtitles.
In its home country, the 25th Anniversary Edition for "Soul Hackers 2" will come in a three-disc Music Album consisting of 30 tracks. On top of that, there will be a special book with 100 pages of artwork, commentaries, and other information about the game.
There will be "Aiho-Kun '' demon fusion and "Mary-Style Maid Outfit" as a special costume for its DLC. The Japanese release will also include Ringo's Phantom Suit, Arrow's Pirate Armor, Psyzo's Princess Suit, and M'Lady's Red Rubber Suit.
Moreover, you can also get "Keeper of Lust" as the battle background music besides the Phantom Thief Mask, which increases your shooting's critical rate.
