Several players of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel noticed an exploit that forces themselves to surrender and lose after the opponent enters its turn.
This was after reports of another hack that causes them to have a near-automatic win off the coin toss before the start of a duel.
According to Upcomer, several online digital card game players who discovered the exploit posted videos of how it worked on the internet, including social media.

After he passed the turn to his opponent, it went smoothly until he entered Main Phase 1 when suddenly the player lost the Duel after he "surrendered" the match. This will grant his opponent an automatic win.
This also happened to TGS Anime, a Yu-Gi-Oh! content creator who also discovered the exploit.
In a video he posted on his Twitter page after his opponent set a card in the Spell/Trap Zone during his turn, he suddenly lost the Duel then received a notification saying that he "surrendered."
This is not the only exploit that some of the players used in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, as other hacks are in the game and can be downloaded on websites such as GitHub.
These other hacks allow players to bot solo duels to farm for EXP; set life points to any amount; have any Royal or Glossy finish card automatically; reveal all of the cards in their decks, on the field, on hand; make the game go faster, and avoid losses after they disconnected.
These exploits, according to Sportskeeda, gave the players a reason to frustrate and even plead to Konami on social media to look into the reports regarding them. They even plan to boycott the game until they are addressed.
On the other hand, Konami released an in-game statement to address the issue. According to Gamepur, the developers of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel wrote that they are investigating the reports regarding the usage of the exploits while working on measures to prevent them.
They also added that they would monitor and investigate those who violated their Terms of Use to continue providing a fair gaming environment for all players.
Those who will find guilty of doing so, according to them, will have their accounts banned from Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duels.
Master Duel's First Event Starts on February 17
Meanwhile, Konami announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will have its first in-game event this month. Titled "Xyz Festival," according to Rock Paper Shotgun, players are allowed to build decks focusing only on Xyz Monsters and Xyz Summoning.
According to VG247.com, those will participate in the event will receive medals regardless of whether they receive a win, loss, or draw in matches. When the event ends, they will get rewards based on how many medals they collected.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's "Xyz Festival" will begin on Feb. 17 and last until Feb. 24. Claiming of the event's rewards will be from Feb. 24 to Feb. 26.
