Esports organization Misfits Gaming Group announced they signed Minecraft streamers Toby "Tubbo" Smith and Ranboo. The organization aims to diversify its content line for YouTube and Twitch and widen its appeal to younger audiences.
"Elite creators like Ranboo and Tubbo will help us engage and nurture a younger demo while 'Minecraft' provides a fun testing ground for new content formats and ideas," said Misfits' CMO Steve Brauntuch.
The former has 3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and 3 million followers on Twitch since his streaming career in 2018, while the latter started streaming in 2020. Later on, he has had 4,2 million followers on Twitch.
Both Tubbo and Ranboo will join the South Florida-based gaming organization's roster of Minecraft content creators Aimsey, Cassie "Snifferish" Anne, and Callum "SeaPeeKay" Knight. The company has its own server, Misfits Craft server, where fans can play and connect with the streamers.
