It is time for the players of Guild Wars 2 to celebrate the Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Tiger as the multiplayer online role-playing game will have its event themed after the said holiday.
The said event will bring in new in-game items that they can get, including new wearables and weapons for their characters and new minigames and sub-events that they can participate in.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year in Guild Wars 2
In order for Guild Wars 2 players to participate in the Lunar New Year 2022 event, according to a post on the game's website, they must need to check first their in-game mail for the Invitation to Lunar New Year.

Once they see the event-exclusive item, they will double click it to use it to teleport themselves to the Crown Pavilion, which is at the Divinity's Reach.

From there, according to Gamerant, they can now participate in activities such as collecting the Divine Lucky Envelopes, which contains Lunar New Year-themed items, racing across the city while riding with their mounts and setting off the fireworks.
Aside from those activities, the said event will also bring in new items such as the White Tiger Skin for the Jackal Mount and the White Tiger Weapon of their choice, and the White Tiger Outfit for their characters.
These said items will be included in the White Tiger Appearance Package, containing five Sacred Dye Kits and a Total Makeover Kit.
Aside from the package, they can also buy the Outfit and Jackal Mount Skin individually and the White Tiger Weapons by surrendering one Black Lion Claim Ticket at their Black Lion Weapons Specialist.
The event will also offer discounts for several items available in the in-game shop. The Mystic Lotus Chair and the Staff of Fortune skin will be sold with a 20% discount, while the Red Envelope Mail Carrier will have its price slashed half.
The Lucky Dog Harvesting Tool, the Mini Lucky Lantern Puppy, and the Celestial Rat Cape will be sold in the said shop with a 30% discount off.
If they want to have free items such as the Primal Tiger Hood, the Mini Lunar Tiger minion, and the Crescent Steel Sword, according to Alt Char, they will need to do several tasks in order to get Achievements such as completing a set of Celestial Challenges or by collecting firecrackers.
Where to Collect the Fireworks
As mentioned earlier, players who want to have the Primal Tiger Hood, the Mini Lunar Tiger minion, and the Crescent Steel Sword can collect firecrackers in order to obtain an Achievement, which can be used to gain themselves access to the said items.
In total, 10 firecrackers are scattered in the Crown Pavilion. In order to obtain the first two firecrackers in the area, according to Gamepur, they must descend the stairs from the Crown Pavilion, then go straight to a gate where they will see the said firecrackers were on top of the opposite sides.
After passing the two firecrackers in the area, there will be a third firecracker next to the spiraling topiary on the left side of the gate.
Then, they will go towards the right side of the Glass Eagle, where they will see a giant musical instrument. They need to get past through it and go towards the back of a rampart wall, where they need to look for an oblong-shaped red tent. From there, they will see the firecracker hanging.
Next, they need to go towards a willow tree to see a curving bridge. From there, they will need to search above and below until they will see two more firecrackers hanging.
Then, they will go back to the Glass Eagle and look for its right-wing until they see another set of firecrackers hanging. They will need to jump onto it in order to interact with it. Then, they will need to drop down below the throat of the Glass Eagle until they see the eighth firecracker.
Afterward, they will go towards the far back left of the Crown Pavilion until they see a gate. From there, they will see the ninth firecracker hanging close to the metal part of the red umbrella.
Once they interact with the said firecracker, they will go back to the Crown Pavilion entrance and the grass until they see the final firecracker tucked away near a ramp heading upwards.
Once they ignited all of the ten firecrackers that they have found, they will get the Firecracker Finder achievement, as well as several pieces of Divine Lucky Envelopes.
