Aside from the two new characters, Yun Jin and Shenhe, Genshin Impact's Version 2.4 Update also brought in new quests that not only uncovers the secrets of Enkanomiya, Teyvat's new region, but also gave its players a chance to continue the main game storyline.
The said addition, which is a new Archon Quest entitled "Interlude Chapter Act 1 The Crane Returns on the Wind," will bring them to the Liyue region to help Ningguang in rebuilding the Jade Chamber. T
The Archon Quest has four subquests that they need to complete by interacting with several of the game's non-playable characters (NPCs), solving puzzles to enter passages and area, and defeat monsters, including its Final Boss.
How to Clear the Second Half
Once they have collected the Sunset Vermillionite within the Sea Gazer's Abode domain, which is after destroying the Ancient Array Cores, according to game8.co, they will need to go towards the Jade Chamber, where they will saw Beidou and Yun Jin.
They will talk to these two, then travel towards the Liyue Harbor to talk with Master Zhang, an NPC that is the local blacksmith in the area. He will tell them regarding the Wonder Cores, then asks them to collect two items - the Starsplinter Iron and the Subrosium.
After talking to the blacksmith, according to Neoseeker, they will need to warp to a Teleport Waypoint that is southwest of Mt. Tianheng. From there, they will head southeast to trigger a mini cutscene, indicating the location that they will go next.
Then, using their character's Visions, they will indicate the locations of the four Starsplinter Iron, but they need to collect two of them for the quest.
Afterwards, they will climb the mountain to their right until they will reach the top, where they will see a Starsplinter Iron, which looks like a Magic Crystal, but only orange-colored.
Then, they will investigate its walls on the southeast until they will see a small opening. From there, they find, and collect, the Starsplinter Iron.
Next, they will go down and look for a tree. From there, they search for the third Starsplinter Iron that they will collect. Then, they will survey the inside of an abandoned building, where the fourth Starsplinter Iron will be seen.
Once they got two of the said item, they will head towards an abandoned village, which is south of Lisha, and talk to an old man standing there. He will tell them information regarding the second item, Subrosium.
After talking to the NPC, they will look around until they saw small pillars of light at the southeastern part of the area. Upon reaching the location, they will check the abandoned houses that are there and collect the records that are within the said pillars of light.
Next, they head towards another abandoned house above, and investigate until they will find something that will tell them about the location of the Subrosium. Then, they will talk to Shenhe, triggering another mini cutscene.
Then, they will go towards Mt. Tianheng and climb until they will see a lake that has small rock in the middle. From there, they must change the time in their in-game clock to 17:30 while facing the western side.
After changing the time, they will head west across the said lake until they will see an orange tree. They will then search at their left until they will find the Subrosium. Then, they will talk to Xiao, who is in front of the orange tree, then they will head back to Master Zhang to give the items needed.
Then, they will go back to the Jade Chamber and talk to Baiwen, Ningguang's secretary, then they will go atop of the chamber to talk to Ningguang herself. This will trigger a cutscene where the Jade Chamber is facing the Beisht, the "Avenger of the Vortex." From there, they will dive underwater in order to help Shenhe fight against the Archon Quest's Main Boss.
In this Boss Fight, according to Gamewith.net, they will need to dodge its attacks, as well as its projectiles, before it goes to a vulnerable state. This will give them the opportunity to dish out attacks and deal damage to the Boss' heads. Once they took down two of its heads, it will eventually retreat.
After defeating Beisht, they will speak to Ningguang again, then they will head towards the Jade Chamber to complete the Archon Quest.
