Days after their first patch update of the year 2022, Riot Games announced that League of Legends will receive its Patch 12.2 Update, which will bring in the new addition to their roster -- Zeri, the "Spark of Zaun."
The said Champion will be included in the multiplayer online battle arena game once the patch update rolls out tomorrow, January 12th, along with several balance changes and new Champions Skins.
Enter Zeri, the Spark of Zaun
Zeri, according to GiveMeSport, was described as a Marksman Champion whose powers mirrors her eruptive emotions.
She uses both her custom-crafted gun and lightning-fast skills, as well as her electric magic, in battle, which was shown in her Champion reveal trailer that Riot Games uploaded in the game's Youtube channel.

Based on the said trailer, she can use said abilities in order to enter herself in the battle or chasing opponent Champions for the kill, while providing support fire to her teammates.
Her Passive Ability, Living Battery, according to PCGamesN, will make her gain a certain amount of movement speed whenever she receives a shield. When she damages an enemy shield, she will eventually absorb its energy, shielding herself in the process.
Her Burst Fire Q Ability will make her shoot a burst of 7 rounds from her gun that can deal physical damage to the first enemy that will be hit. It will scale with the Champion's AD and will be treated like an attack, with the first round applying on-hit effects.
It also has a passive that makes her basic attacks deal magic damage, scales with AP, and will be treated as an ability.
While moving or casting said ability, Zeri stores up energy in her Sparkpack, and once it is fully charged the next basic attack will deal bonus damage, as well as it can inflict slow on those who will get hit.
Her Ultrashock Laser W Ability, according to Clutchpoints, allows Zeri to fire an electric pulse that can slow and damage the first enemy that will be hit. If the said pulse hits a wall, it will fire a long-range laser from the point of impact.
Her Spark Surge E Ability, on the other hand, will make her dash for a short distance, while energizing her next three casts of Burst Fire in order for them to piece through enemies.
She can vault over any terrain that she dashes into, even the cliff-like ones in the map, depending on the angle.
They can also lower its cooldown by hitting opponent Champions with a basic attack or an ability, which means that they can spam said skill after attacking or casting.
Finally, her Ultimate R Ability, Lightning Crash, allows the Champion to discharge a nova of electricity, damaging opponents that are nearby its radius.
Afterwards, she will Overcharge herself for up to 3 stacks for every Champion hit for 6 seconds, granting her a movement speed bonus.
While being Overcharged, Zeri will also gain increased magic damage on hit and attack speed, as well as the shots made from the Burst Fire ability will turn into faster triple shots that can chain lightning between enemies dealing bonus Magic and Physical damages to nearby Champions.
Also, attacking enemy Champions or casting one of her abilities will add another stack, while it refreshes the Overcharge duration for 2 seconds.
