Chinese manufacturer Huawei recently revealed the new color option for the flagship handset Honor 9. This new smartphone is the successor of the last year's Honor 8. The Chinese manufacturer released the Honor 9 handset first in China in June, while the international release of the handset took place in July.
A couple of days ago, the Honor 9 was leaked in three new color variants; Yellow, Orange and Deep Pink and now, according to GSMArena, Honor has officially announced a new color variant of the handset, however, the exact name isn't yet known, reports say its Google translated version is Blue Bird. So, this newly-official color absolutely comes as a surprise.
The Honor 9 comes with a dual camera setup on the back, and it's really a handy smartphone, mainly thanks to its 5.15-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display. The Honor 9 comes in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, coupled with 64GB and 128GB of expandable storage. The Honor 9 is powered by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery, to run Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.1 skin on top of it, as per Gadgets now.
On the back of the Honor 9, you will find a combo of 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, which are capable of taking some superb shots, while an 8-megapixel selfie camera is also a part of this package. To come powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor which is the same SoC you will find in the Huawei's P10, P10 Plus, Mate 9 and Honor 8 Pro.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that the new color variant will go on sale later this month. Interestingly, the best part is this new color variant of Honor 9 will be available with the same features and pricing like the other variants. Honor 9 will land in China on Aug. 16 with a price tag around $405.
