"Injustice 2" just added a new playable villain. The PS4 and Xbox One hero and villain-packed game are expected to launch on the platforms on May 16. Players will be tasked to take on the roles of Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman or else opt for Brainiac, Poison Ivy and Joker.
Joker Comes To "Injustice 2" With A Sinister Laugh
A screenshot showing the Clown Prince of Crime in "Injustice 2" was recently leaked, Geek Reply reported. It should be noted that in "Injustice: Gods Among Us", the dimension with Superman's Regime no longer includes Joker. Apparently, the Man of Steel had some power that brutally killed the iconic villain after the latter tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane.
The "Injustice 2" leak was written in French and features options for the expanded mods and statistics. Joker is also slated to either utilize or wield the Gift of Life. Joker is expected to sport the same bleached white skin and green hair. Previously, Society and Brainiac were unveiled for the game.
In addition, a French leaked picture of "Injustice 2" also shows Joker in mid-gameplay revealing the villain may be a little more active. As of this writing, there is yet to be a confirmation on whether Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as the famous supervillain. "Injustice 2" by NetherRealm Studios is still being sold out on Amazon.
Achievement List for Upcoming Sequel Revealed
In other news, Xbox Achievements just released the list of achievements for the upcoming fighting video game "Injustice 2," Escapist Magazine reported. It has been revealed that there will be 62 separate achievements for the game, totaling a thousand points. It should be noted that the game includes things like playing a certain number of online matches and beating the story mode.
The "Injustice 2" achievements list also includes several character-specific achievements. Xbox Achievements noted beating character x while being character y and using move z among them. Moreover, two achievements involved Joker with players needing to beat the villain as Harley in "I Love You, I hate you" and taking on Joker to defeat Batman in "Why Aren't You Laughing."
