"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," the new DLC from Naughty Dog is set to receive a release date soon. The game is also expected to roll out exclusively for PS4 this year.
"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" Features One Of The Biggest Stages Of The Series
"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," a standalone expansion to "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," will witness Fraser team up with Nadine Ross to find a mythical Indian artifact called the Tusk of Ganesh. While the game will take place months following the events of Nathan Drake's epic swansong, reports confirm that the treasure hunter will not have an appearance.
Nevertheless, "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is set to feature one of the biggest stages in the franchise to date, including a different tone to what the fans were used to with Drake's globetrotting antics. Based on reports, the game will be released exclusively for PS4 this year, and a final outing from the series' creator Naughty Dog. The franchise is still Sony's most successful title, with "Uncharted 4" selling more than 8 million copies already, PSU reported.
"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" Will Not Feature Nathan Drake
"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" will not feature an appearance from the series protagonist Nathan Drake. According to game director Kurt Margenau, the story will not touch on Nathan Drake at all, which totally makes sense given that the game is pitched as a standalone tale in the Uncharted series.
In "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," the focus will be on the two women who were made known in terms of how they relate to Nathan Drake. Aside from this, the game will also highlight Chloe's own treasure hunt and enlisting the help of Nadine.
Meantime, "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy's" developer announced in an interview that the company will unlikely make another Uncharted game. Naughty Dog also revealed considering a few possible concept that includes Nate as a secondary character, but things turned out to be unnecessary they have tied it all up with "Uncharted 4," Polygon reported.
