"Voodoo Vince" developers have already announced that the Remastered Edition of the 3D platformer will be launched on April 18. Gamers may find the game over at Steam or on the Windows Store. Take note that the game will come out with a launching price of just US $14.99.
It should be noted that the title was previously released as an exclusive to the original Xbox in 2003. "Voodoo Vince" was well received by both gamers and critics alike, Gaming On PC reported. Recently, Beep Games confirmed that the classic Xbox exclusive will be updated and as an added bonus, "Voodoo Vince: Remastered" will be coming to Windows 7 and Windows 10 PCs via Steam.
Apparently, it has been thirteen years since "Voodoo Vince" last saw the light of day. Now, the puzzle platformer's updated version gets over 60 frames per second gameplay.
The game was preserved exactly like in the original but now boasting high definition visuals with improved rendering and visual effects. Beep Games also added Snark-arrific sarcastic humor, haptic feedback and select soundtrack remixes from the original composer of the game, Steve Kirk. In addition, the game is packed with over 30 voodoo attacks with prickly push-pins, falling safes and bolts of lighting, among others.
Meanwhile, the HD remake of "Voodoo Vince" will also be accessible for download on Xbox Live. A generation of gamers are expected to come back to life with a sprinkle of Zombie Dust. Apparently, a great number of people never got to try the game at all, WWG reported.
"Voodoo Vince" is set in the magical underbelly of New Orleans. Take note that Vince, the protagonist of the game is the voodoo doll himself. Hence, his attacks on enemies and bosses will mostly be self-inflicted. Vince is set on cutting himself in half and casting spells over enemies that are tied to his own fate as well.
