According to Game Rant, Kojima did not deny that the "Monster Hunter" franchise would come to the Switch. Mochizuki asked the Capcom producer if the series is coming to the Switch, and Kojima replied with "hope you enjoy it on 3DS first."
There is no confirmation yet that "Monster Hunter" will certainly be released on Nintendo Switch, however, fans are hopeful that the franchise might be released in home consoles, since it has been already circulated on portable devices, except for the 3Ds.
Furthermore, Capcom has not announced which games are coming to the switch but gamers in the US are expecting that it could be Monster Hunter XX, since Capcom already released an updated version in Japan.
In another report by NintendoWire, "Monster Hunter XX" has added another character, Gudetama, based on a beloved Sanrio character. Known for his lazy and disheartened mannerisms, the sentient egg yolk is a merchandise machine in Japan and abroad.
