It seems that Tetsuya Nomura has plans to shake things up with "Kingdom Hearts III". The game director apparently intends to introduce transformations for each Keyblade in the game. Sources claim that the man behind Square Enix's most inconic titles revealed the information earlier this week while he was talked about the latest sequel.
According to Game Rant, Nomura did not really have much to say about the Disney collaboration sequel except for the weapon details. He reportedly teased fans that each of the iconic weapons will feature at least two. This is obviously unlike the previous installments wherein only a few selected weapons hold a secret feature. He also added some information that the transformations will not be exactly like the ones seen on the trailer for the game.
Tetsuya Nomura explains that the upcoming Keyblade transformations will differ from the preview trailer, which showcased a variant for defense and another one for attacks. For "Kingdom Hearts III", he noted that "the Keyblades we're currently making have two transformation patterns." Apparently, "there is not always a division of attack and defense, adds the game director.
Players have already noticed that for each new installment of the action RPG, there are also some new systems or tweaks that are introduced. Therefore, Nomura's revelation informs fans of what they can expect in terms of enemy encounters and combat. The game director also reportedly revealed more information about the huge Heartless seen during the trailer.
Speculations have labeled the enemy as some kind of sub-boss, but Tetsuya Nomura finally revealed that it is called a Rock Troll and confirmed it as mid-boss. Fans are obviously excited to get some "Kingdom Hearts III" new and Keyblade transformation updates. After all the last information shared he shared were some screenshots of the game, according to Gamenguide.
