"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" players surely notice the limited inventory space of Link. This means that sooner or later, one will run out of space for the more important items left in the game. Luckily, the inventory can be expanded by collecting Korok seeds.
"The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" Puzzle Games
Koroks are sort of puzzle games scattered around the map. After completing a Korok, one will be carrying a representation of it in the inventory which is then presented to a non-playable character (NPC) named Hestu. Hestu will then replace the Korok with a Korok seed, which players can use to purchase additional inventory space, Venture Beat reports.
For starters, gamers will encounter Hestu as they make their way to Kakariko from Dueling Peaks Stable, then at Woodlands Stable and finally at the Korok Forst. Players can also collect up to 900 Korok seeds and almost half of those is needed to maximize the inventory space.
Once all 900 Korok seeds are collected, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" players will also receive a special item from Hestu, known as Hestu's Gift. This will let the lucky gamers witness Hestu's talent in dancing.
To make things easier for the players, there are indicators on the map that shows where to find the Koroks. A blue circle indicates natural hiding spots for the puzzle games. It may be hidden underneath a bunch of rocks on mountain tops, a block of ice that one needs to melt or behind something that can be destroyed.
A green circle means the Koroks are among the trees, a red circle will test the archery skills of the player and a yellow circle means that one needs to look out for big boulder of rock. Players will also see triangle markings on their map.
"The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" Shrine Puzzles
Meanwhile, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" also offers shrine puzzles, which are the more elaborate ones. Players are required to have complete control of the Nintendo Switch's controller, the Joy-con, in order to navigate the ball around a maze. It may sound easy, but players are already complaining about it, reported Polygon.
Many game fans have already spent hours solving the Shrine puzzles. A small miscalculation can bring the ball out of the labyrinth, so precise movements are required for the controller. Some players even tried to use their Joy-Con at different positions just to get the accuracy to no avail.
