"Middle - Earth: Shadow of War", the sequel to the hit game Shadow of Mordor is coming up to the universe of The Lord of Rings this August 25, 2017. It will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms as a component of the Play Anywhere System. Hence, the game player who will be availing of the Microsoft digital copy will be able to play the game in any of the three platforms, without necessarily losing their data.
It was revealed by PCAdvisor, that the new game will resemble that of the prequel game, which is set in the universe in between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The game brings in the promise of a more personalized, bigger and better gameplay. Gamers will have to circumvent Sauron's armed men. Of course, the goal is to get the armies to fight against their leader. Adding to this, "Middle - Earth: Shadow of War" will bring new Followers and Nemesis Fortresses.
Similarly, Gamerant has reported that "Middle - Earth: Shadow of War" will be released with "in-app purchases", otherwise referred to as microtransactions. Monolith Productions, the developer of the game did not give any hint on the details of the "in-app" purchase package. What has been revealed is that the buyer of the game will be able to avail of the "war chest" items, which are part of the game's special edition. Moreover, the gamers can have different levels of the special edition.
However, it is expected that the publisher of "Middle - Earth: Shadow of War" Warner Bros. will ultimately be sharing on the microtransactions. As to the prices, game players can pre-order the game from Amazon or Game for £49.99, or $59.99 from Amazon US. To go with the base game as pre-order bonus are the "four legendary Orc champions & exclusive Sword of Dominion.
