"Guardians of the Galaxy", the first Marvel game created by the Telltale game company is slated for release sometime in April, 2017. The announcement was made in last year's Game Awards that the first episode of the game will have its digital premiere in 2017.
"Guardians Of The Galaxy" will be composed of five episodes as revealed by PCAdvisor. It is expected that the release date will also be in time for release of the film titled Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. For promotional purposes, Marvel and the game's creator Telltale will ride on the movie hype and it as the promoter of the game.
While the movie will have a full force of characters, the game series "Guardians of the Galaxy" gives no hints yet whether whose characters of the movie will be featured in the game, as reported by Gamesradar. However, it would be a big bonus if the cast members like Christ Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Bradley Cooper of the cinematic universe will be featured in the game series.
As to the storyline, "Guardians of the Galaxy" is a sci-fi action adventure series of the Guardians. The players can play multiple roles like the heroes circumventing the universe against the background of interactive storytelling. The game is designed to be available in many platforms to include the home consoles and PC such as the PS4 and Xbox One. Likewise, it will be release for mobile devices like the Android and iOS.
Possibly, "Guardians of the Galaxy" would even be made compatible for Nintendo Switch. Gamenguide will give you updates of this from time to time, once new information from the game's developer gets in.
