One of the iconic weapons that are featured in every “The Legend of Zelda” game is the master sword. The same weapon is featured in “Zelda: Breath of the Wild” which is a very useful item to help the player complete their quest. It is hidden somewhere in the game and this article will guide players where to find its exact location and how to claim it.
Where to Find the Master Sword
In the story of the game, Link already had the master sword with him but lost it while he was attempting to eliminate Calamity Ganon according to Eurogamer. And after 100 years as Link re-awakens in the new world, the master sword is hidden in the middle of Great Hyrule Forest. This forest is located just north of the castle of Hyrule. And the only way to get the powerful weapon is to completely go through the Lost Woods.
How to Get the Master Sword
In “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, Gamespot reports the only way to get the master sword is to have a minimum of 13 hearts. This is because it takes a lot of effort to pull it from where it rests so it is useless to go and claim it with fewer hearts. Do take note that temporary hearts are not counted so players really have to do all the hard work required to get all 13 hearts.
One of the best ways to get as many hearts as possible is by finishing all the Shrines found all over the game world that rewards with Spirit Orbs. These orbs are used to get more heart containers for the player. Since Link already comes with three hearts at the start of the game, the player only needs ten more which is equivalent to 40 shrines that must be conquered.
Another option the player can consider is by finishing the four primary dungeons and 32 shrines in the game. This method is a bit more time-consuming, not to mention harder, but has its own advantages if this is the chosen path of the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" player.
