Nintendo Switch has a big resemblance to the new game pad from the Moto Z family of phones. Incidentally, Moto recently announced five new snap-on Mod accessories, keeping up to the company's promise of releasing at least 12 new Mods this year. Moto is currently seeking the support of developers in creating an ecosystem of Mods.
Nintendo Switch Resembles New Moto Game Pad
The new gamepad is considered as the most aggressive in the new line-up of new Mods released by Moto, and has taken on the Nintendo Switch, the new portable console for gaming that can be plugged into the TV. This new Moto gaming device, on the other hand, is a snap-on rig for Moto Z that comes with gaming controls as well as four speakers. Already preloaded with games, the new game pad is expected to cost much cheaper than the Nintendo Switch, including more games.
Aside from a Nintendo Switch-inspired game pad, Moto has also announced the release of Power Pack in the market in March that will come in different colors. Other Moto Mods for gamers include a Wireless Charger in a glass design, a Charging Adaptor that is slapped onto the back of the Mods for charging and a Turbo Charger, which is portable and will provide eight hours more of battery life, CNET reported.
Nintendo Switch Is Not Replacing 3DS
Given that Nintendo Switch is portable in nature, there are rumors that the new console overlaps with 3DS, which makes other speculate that Switch may eventually replace the 3DS. However, this is far from the truth, as reports suggest that the 3DS is here to stay for a long time.
Nintendo Switch will not replace 3DS, considering that games are mostly about input. As explained further by Nintendo, the visuals are present for relaying the mechanics, and later the games become something that players will apparently do instead of just see, Forbes reported.
