No more news on who or what is behind the mechanical mask of the titular Arkham Knight, but AllGamesBeta managed to snag some screens showing more familiar faces. As expected, the Gordon clan's two standout members, James and Barbara (better known as Oracle) will indeed return to join Bats in his ongoing war against crime for Rocksteady's foray back into the Arkham-verse.
There's also more looks at the caped crusader soaring above the streets of Gotham, the Riddler, Penguin, and the tank gamers will be able to drive for the first time in an Arkham game. You'd know it as the batmobile. Check out all the screens below:
As you can see, the screen above definitely illustrates Game Director Sefton Hill's recent boasts about Arkham Knight's Gotham being the "biggest representation of Gotham City yet to appear in a videogame." And below, you see another look at the no doubt tumbler inspired batmobile that players will be using to explore an expansive new environment full of new obstacles.
Rocksteady's been pushing the Cockney Cobbplepot for quite some time now. No matter the accent, the Penguin's always looked a bit "fowl," but he's looking considerably more worse for wear this time around.
Looks like Eddie Nigma's still up to his old tricks, choosing to broadcast himself on screens while his true self stays hidden away. We've hunted riddler trophies enough times over to be completely sick of it, so I really hope Rocksteady has other plans for puzzle boy this time around.
Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this year.
