Bethesda posted the announcement on Twitter to confirm that they are going to closely work on an enhanced experience with the processor manufacturer. Gamers on the PC platform will most likely be intrigued by the revelation of both companies.
Reports claim that the developer and chip maker will have a "long-term strategic partnership", according to their tweet. The post also detailed that their cooperation will "produce unprecedented performance" for their fans, says Game Rant. Sources speculate that both companies will work on top-level support for games developed by the developer for the PC.
Moreover, AMD also followed Bethesda's tweet with one of their own, which says "working together to deliver amazing experiences", and claimed that they are proud to announce their partnership with the developer. Meanwhile, PC gamers are reportedly hoping that the two companies will further enhance the support for Radeon, Ryzen and maybe even Vulkan. These updates are obviously meant for PC gamers only, while console gamers are not likely to be affected.
According to some analysts it appears their partnership is intended to help improve the overall gaming experience for the users. The developer's has recently released some top-shelf games like "Fallout 4", "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" and "DOOM". IT is suspected that the processor manufacturer wants to capitalize on the developer's large fan base of PC gamers. Meanwhile, players also hope that their team-up might resolve some of the in-game issues like framerate drops and performance hiccups.
Gamespot notes that Bethesda and AMD will combine hardware, game engineering, and software with both of their company's strengths. It will hopefully result in "extraordinary experiences" on new hardware architectures. It was also confirmed that the duo will work on certain features like VR on future titles.
