After a successful trilogy, “Mass Effect” is back with its newest title “Andromeda” and even though things look bright for now, there are a few things going aloof, and even though small, these problems may ruin the game’s successful initial run.
It has been reported by PC gamer, that BioWare’s newest game “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be getting a day one patch. A working version of the game has been built and burned on disks, but the work on the title does not end. BioWare officials have confirmed that a large portion of the development team is working on a day one patch for the game. Good news on the topic is that the patch will be ready for both release dates of the game, March 21 and March 23.
Those who wonder what the fuss is all about and just how good “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is, will have the chance to do it. PC Games Netowrk informs that every person who has purchased a subscription to Origin Access will have the chance to try out ten hours of the game as early as March 16. For those who have already obtained a subscription, but are not sure about the title this is a single most amazing opportunity to try the game first hand. Gamers are free to see it as an extended demo of the game.
An IGN review of three hours of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” gameplay share some of the first features which a player will encounter. Among them is the classless system of character creation. Class just gives you a small boost in stats. Point distribution happens in a skill tree, which has three separate branches, combat, biotics and tech. Points can both be automatically or manually distributed depending on the player’s choice. One of the most notable changes to the game is in the dialogue system. Choices are no longer separated on good or evil, but logical and emotional. This allows for a more nuanced choice making, which enters the player into the grey area of personal choice, without imposing any predetermined burden on them.
“Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be released on March 21 for NA and March 23, 2017 Worldwide for PC, XBOX One and PS 4.
