"Psychonauts: In the Rhombus of Ruin" has finally been out allowing gamers to experience the world of psychic powers. The name may be familiar as it already existed since 2005 and was published by Majesco.
The game is a VR installment in the Psychonauts series and Double Fine Productions is still going to be working and staying with the said game. It can be remembered that since then, Double Fine Production has already been the developer of the game.
"Psychonauts: In the Rhombus of Ruin" will be bridging the gap between Psychonauts series, first Psychonauts and the upcoming Psychonauts 2. The game will primarily be a fun VR game set offering players an experience of a game with a dash of humor.
Players shall take the role of Raz, a young boy who is gifted with psychic abilities, using his powers to solve puzzles, telekinetically move things in the surroundings, exploring the environment or set them on fire with pyrokinesis, BleedingCool elaborated. It centers on exploring the imaginative and strange minds of various characters in the game.
Unlike its original series, this game will not be a 3D platformer but will instead be focused on a first-person puzzle game while Raz still remains in a seated position. Familiar characters can be sighted along the game, and will also feature the return of the original voice of the characters, PlaystationLifestyle added.
Indeed the game seems interesting with its added features and plot of the story. However, it is also worth to note that the game has few glitches as some might say. However, it is certain that the glitches can also be fixed in the near future. Some of these are a short-lived mission offering a span of two hours, simple puzzles being rare with the growth of more sophisticated ones.
Whatever it may be, "Psychonauts: In the Rhombus of Ruin" still captures avid fans as it brings back to their favorite game. It is finally available to PlayStation VR and it costs $19.99.
