Square Enix and Platinum Games have already set the date for "Nier: Automata's" release date included on the game's official trailer. Avid fans have already been relieved hearing the good news and finally marked their calendars.
The game is an action role-playing video game that is set in the same universe as Nier, which was released way back in 2010. Its setting is in the midst of a war between machines and remnants of humanity with 2B and her companion 9S, paving their way through the landscape to win the war.
Players in "Nier: Automata" will assume the role of these combat androids coming from Yohra units all across the open world. The game also allows players to summon a wild animal that is available to be ridden by the characters.
Square Enix and Platinum Games did excite those who were waiting for a current update as the game's developer and publisher have just released a new trailer along with an announcement on the game's release date on March 7 in North America. However, it will be a lot earlier in Japan as it will be available on February 23. The game is available both on PC and PlayStation 4, SegmentNext added.
On another note, many critics have questioned on why the game isn't going to reach Xbox, making a huge outbreak in the world of internet. Interestingly, Yosuke Saito has clarified the said issue at hand saying that it is the low sales in Japan that paved their decision, JustPushStart, reports. With this Saito ended by saying that it is a benefit for the team as it will allow them to focus more and have more time with "Nier: Automata's" quality.
