PlayStation is hosting a free to play games making fans more happier on this month. The company is bringing chances to PlayStation owners who are not yet subscribers of PlayStation Plus.
It can be remembered that Microsoft has also offered a free to play on a weekend game, as GameNGuide has reported which is in celebration of Xbox Live's Multiplayer Access. Gamers will have an opportunity for a 3-day unpaid access to the said games that also includes Xbox Live Series.
Silver members of Xbox Live will be enjoying the multiplayer benefits of a Gold subscriber, offering a demo of Rocket League and NBA 2K17. Now "PlayStation Plus" will also be offering multiplayer games for free. Its purpose is to give those non-subscribers the taste of Sony's multiplayer games of which they have not tried.
The trial period will run both in North America and Europe. However, there would be a time difference as to its launch, TechRadar added. In North America, PlayStation owners have already begun trying the free access to online multiplayer, last February 17 at 12:01 am PT.The offer will last until Thursday, February 29 at 11:59 pm PT. In Europe, however, the offer will start on February 22 at 10 am until Sunday, February 26 at 11:59 pm.
It is interesting to note that while Microsoft allows users to play games available to Gold subscribers, it isn't the same to "PlayStation Plus" as it draws a wall between the subscribers and non-subscribers offering a different set of free games. These are LittleBigPlanet 3, Starwhal, Not a Hero, Ninja Senki DX, Anna: Extended Edition, and TorqueL.
